Gripping and moving extra-large logs in industrial and heavy-duty forestry operations.
Good for
High-volume logging and wood processing tasks that require maximum strength and precision.

Overview

The Lasco LA1700DZ log grapple is designed for the heaviest of tasks, providing superior strength and durability for large-scale forestry and industrial operations. Its universal hole pattern allows easy mounting of various rotators, making it adaptable to different carrier machines. Built with Hardox gripper jaws and a massive box frame, the grapple is engineered to withstand extreme conditions. The double parallel rods and galvanized, full-length shaft provide added stability, while the powder coating and lubrication nipple protection extend the equipment's life in tough environments.

With a generous opening width of 67 inches and a dual-cylinder system delivering a clamping force of 16.8 kN (at 2,900 psi), the LA1700DZ can handle the heaviest logs with ease. The dual-cylinder pushing force of 2x77 kN ensures powerful and precise log handling.
